Please note: Videos/DVDs can only be borrowed by North Ayrshire teaching staff.

2.  Give full details of each video title, including numbers if appropriate, e.g. How We Used to Live 1936-1953, 2.

3.  Always quote the classification number given e.g. 610 or fiction.

4.  If you are requesting more than one video, please list these in order you wish to receive them.

Loan Period

5.  Please state the number of weeks required.  Subject to availability, videos will be issued for a minimum of 2 weeks and up to a maximum of 5 weeks for videos with 5 or more programmes on them.

6.  Prior bookings may may it impossible for us to confirm the dates requested by you.  We will notify you of the first available date.  Please let us know if it is not suitable.

Delivery and Return

7.  Videos will be delivered to your school by Courier Service on WEDNESDAYS.

8.  Note to accompany the video will be supplied automatically if available.  Please ensure notes are returned promptly with the video.

9.  Please retain the padded bag/or blue video box and have it ready with the video and notes for collection by the Courier on the WEDNESDAY return date indicated.

Extending Loans

10. If you wish to extend the loan of a video, please phone the Centre by the FRIDAY before the video is due for return.  Where possible, if the video has not been booked by any other borrower, we will be happy to extend your loan, but this is not always possible as many videos are in great demand and solidly booked well in advance.

Please remember the video booking system relies on you to return your videos promptly.
