Information Literacy

The North Ayrshire Information
Literacy Toolkit (ILT) was launched in 2005 after research and pilots in 6
primary and secondary schools. The Toolkit contains a CD containing
worksheets looking at fiction, non-fiction and Internet resources. Although
the Toolkit was based on the 5-14 Curriculum, the worksheets be completely
integrated with the new
literacy experience and outcomes within a Curriculum for Excellence.
These experience and outcomes are the responsibility of all teachers and the
Toolkit can be adapted to support any topic.
Other authorities can buy this Toolkit
by completing this
Order Form.
