Pathfinders - Enterprise
Introduction
Definition
“Enterprise in Education (EiE) encompasses learning across the curriculum, in employability skills, career education, aspects of citizenship and personal and social development and the core skills (communication, problem solving, numeracy, using ICT and working with others). However, EiE is as much about approaches to learning and teaching in all curricular areas as it is about "enterprise projects". EiE provides 'real life' contexts for teaching and learning. It also increases the personal relevance of schooling by developing an understanding and experience of roles which the individual may play in the future.”
