North Ayrshire Libraries are part of the People's Network, a government initiative which connects all libraries to the Internet to enable everyone to have the opportunity to get online.

Your local library is a gateway to a wide range of information and opportunities including:

  • fast internet access for information and communication with individuals, organisations and public bodies

  • lifelong learning opportunities

  • an information portal which is customised and dedicated to the needs of the community

  • the online catalogue - accessible from every library and giving access to the holdings of all libraries in North Ayrshire.

Some services will be widely available over the internet but libraries are also committed to providing these facilities in a local, supportive environment with helpful staff who are dedicated to supporting the needs of the community in accessing all of these services.
