Text Box: May - Miners' Exhibition The central piece is a miner's lamp presented to the Irvine Miners Support Group and the people of Irvine by the National Union of Mineworkers, in recognition of their support during the miners strike of 1984-85. There are also some old miners lamps and a few photographs along with text describing living conditions in the miners rows at Fergushill. In our Search Room we currently have photographic displays of Old Kilbirnie and the Stevenston Town Trail.
