Lifelong Learning and Computers

Learning centres, in North Ayrshire libraries, offer free computer usage with a high speed internet connection.  PCs have Windows XP and Office 2003 installed on them and additional software is available to use, on request, in library study centres.  Card readers (allows you to quickly transfer photographs from a digital camera to a PC) and CD Writers are available in most libraries (please ask a member of staff).

As part of our commitment to lifelong learning we offer free tuition in basic computer skills and a range of themed workshops, including an introduction to working with digital photographs.

If you are new to using computers check out our range of computer guides that are available to download or our collection of I.T. and lifestyle books.
