Count Me In bags

These offer children aged between 1 and 4 a series of activities that are designed to encourage early number skills.

A series of 3 bags all containing colourful games and activities to encourage basic number recognition and skills

Bag 1: Five little Ducks. A simple counting rhyme for children around 1 year old.
The bag contains activities that will encourage listening, looking and
learning about colour, size and help to build co-ordination.

Bag 2: Wobble Bear Says Yellow. For children aged 2 & 3. Help Wobble Bear get
ready for bed. This bag contains games and activities to work on
counting, observation and matching skills. And a lovely story too!

Bag 3: Oliver's Vegetables. Aimed at pre-school children. Activities include
counting, sequencing, number recognition, matching and height
comparisons.  Also a delightful picture book about Oliver who only eats
chips, until he helps his Grandfather in the garden.

Bags are available from all North Ayrshire Libraries and must be borrowed on an adult ticket. This scheme is offered with the support of the Clydesdale Bank
