What kind of book is it?
What happens in story	Henry's friends start paying him money and let them put some jokes in his joke book.
Favourite Part of the Story	The jokes are too rude for parents and teachers.
Was the Ending What You Expected	Yes because it saved the best for last

Penny Worms	Wallace and Gromit (curse of the were-rabbit)
Characters	Wallace & Gromit
What kind of book is it?	Humour, Fantasy
What happens in story	Wallace and Gromit make up a company called Anti-pesto. There is a big vegetable festival so Wallace and Gromit have alarms which are knomes in gardens so that no rabits get the vegetables.
Favourite Part of the Story	It was at the start of the book when wallace and gromit go to somebodies garden when the rabbit takes the old mans false teeth.
Was the Ending What You Expected	yes the ending was I expected because the vegetable festival went on

Ryder Windham	Indiana Jones and the last Crusade
Characters	Indiana Jones, Henry Jones
What kind of book is it?	Adventure, Fantasy
What happens in story	Indy and his Dad are trying to find the holy grail but so are the Germans. At the end the Turkish help the Germans.
Favourite Part of the Story	The end because there is a 6 pound gun British tank and a battle on trucks and the tank. There is a man who ages quickly because he drank from the wrong grail.
Was the Ending What You Expected	Yes because I saw the film but the ending was just a little different from the film because he missed a few bits.

Favourite Part of the Story	Keep your head up and your mind on the game. This will help you spot and react well to shooting chances.
Was the Ending What You Expected	No I thought it they were going to play a game.

Martyn Beardsley	Sir Gadabout
Characters	An old granny, a ghost, a lamb and a witch
What kind of book is it?	Friends, Animals, Ghost, Family, Fantasy
What happens in story	Sir Gadabout is sent to escort Merlin to the competition, but is soon confounded by evil magicians. The worst knight in the world finds himself standing in for Merlin, with only a bulldog to help him.
Favourite Part of the Story	The end part of Merlin with a bull dog.
Was the Ending What You Expected	No I thought it was going to be horrible.

What kind of book is it?	Adventure, Friends
What happens in story	A little Boy called James has lost his parents and now stays with his Aunts. He gets Magic Beans and thats how his Adventure Starts.
Favourite Part of the Story	My Favourite part was when the peach grew and James looked at the peach and there was a hole in it and he climbed in. So later he got locked in .
Was the Ending What You Expected	It Was A story with a happy ever after.

What happens in story	They are are best friends but when Minnie loses a tooth she is in danger of losing her best friend.
Favourite Part of the Story	When Minnie lost her tooth it made her look silly and when she talked it sounded silly.
Was the Ending What You Expected	I didn't expect the ending because even though Minnie lost her tooth they were still friends.

Rose Impey	The Heaviest Cat in the World
Characters	Precious
What kind of book is it?	Humour, Animals, Family
What happens in story	When Precious was born he was the smallest kitten in his family. Precious kept eating and eating he even scoffed up his brothers and sisters dinner. Every night he eat the leftovers until he was huge. When he was huge he was wanting a job to earn some money but he was too fat to do deliver post because he would snap the bike, too heavy to clean windows because he would snap the ladders, he was too heavy to drive a crane, too heavy to fly a plane and too heavy to be a coal miner. One day a cat came along to Precious when he was sitting on a bench looking sad and the cat introduced himself to Precious his name was Freddy Funster. Freddy wanted to ask Precious if he wanted to join the circus but Precious said that he was too heavy and Freddy said that he could be the Heaviest Cat in the World. Soon Precious was giving other kittens and cats his autograph.
Favourite Part of the Story	When Precious got a job in the circus and when all the cats and kittens were lining up to get autographs from Precious.
Was the Ending What You Expected	I expected the ending to be what it was because I thought that Precious would get a job and it would be a happy ending.

What happens in story	Captain underpants gets attacked by the the talking toilets and he got put into a big ball of air but he killed all of the toilets but he only had to kill the Turbo talking toilet 2,000.
Favourite Part of the Story	Captain under pants killing all of the talking toilets and when he gets out of the big ball of air.
Was the Ending What You Expected	Yes because at the end Captain under pants got out of the big ball full of air.

What happens in story	Airy Fairy has a wonky wand and her wings have plasters on them and they are all dirty. One of her enemies Tingle always makes up stuff and gets her into trouble.
Favourite Part of the Story	When she found a dog under her bed and then she makes the dog fly

What kind of book is it?	Mystery
What happens in story	When Ruth Claims she knows who killed Jim's fatehr, Hub, Jim is dragged into her frightening world.
Favourite Part of the Story	When Fisher attacks the house, trapping Jim inside.
Was the Ending What You Expected	No, I thought that Fisher would kill Ruth

Scoular Anderson	Spookball Champions
Characters	Oliver, Aunty Mona, uncle Fred and Caesar and Septimus
What happens in story	Oliver went to visit his Aunty Mona and Uncle Fred and he believed that their house was haunted. The reason that he thought it was haunted was that his Aunty Mona was always going to the supermarket but there was never any food in the house. Aunty and Uncle always went to bed early because they could never get a good nights sleep. We then found out it was because of the ghosts that lived in their house. Oliver became friends with the ghosts and was going to help them play Spookball. A nasty ghost called Caesar wanted to take over the house and get rid of the other ghosts so they decided a game of Spookball would settle it.
Favourite Part of the Story	When I saw the big fat ghost eating all the food. I thought this part was really funny. I also enjoyed the endingn when Oliver helped play Spookball and help his ghost friends win the house.
Was the Ending What You Expected	THE end of the Story Septimus won THE house back AND Aunty Mona AND Uncle Fred turned Their house into a bed and breakfast. The ending was what I expected and I am pleased that the good ghost Septimus got to keep his house.

	Ramona's World
Characters	Ramona, Beezus, Mrs Quimby, Roberta, Howie, Susan
What happens in story	In the beginning Ramona starts 4th Grade and wants to be the best at everything in the class. Her new teacher Miss Binney likes her but then spelling comes into business. That changes everything. Ramona loves her little sister and her big sister changes so much because she has started secondary school and keeps on wanting to go to parties and get her ears priced. Ramona has a new best friend called Daisy she goes over to her house but by accident gets pushed and the ceiling comes down which makes a big whole in the ceiling.
Favourite Part of the Story	My favourite part was the whole book. I definitely would recommend it and read it over again. I want to read the other 7 books in the series.
Was the Ending What You Expected	THE end of the Story Septimus won THE house back AND Aunty Mona AND Uncle Fred turned Their house into a bed and breakfast. The ending was what I expected and I am pleased that the good ghost Septimus got to keep his house.

What happens in story	Tom finds a ghost called Hugo in his cellar but finds out that Hugo is being haunted himself. He is being haunted by an IRG. With the help of Hetty Hyssop he must defeat the IRG.
Favourite Part of the Story	The part where Hugo frightened the biscuit maker.
Was the Ending What You Expected	Yes, because in books the goodies always win.

Favourite Part of the Story	I like the way that Rosie is thinking about her home at the same time while she is school.
Was the Ending What You Expected	The ending was not what I expected but it was a very good book. I thought she was going to go to bed.
